Why Aubameyang Signed A New Contract At Arsenal!

2views

After months of speculation, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has finally signed a new contract for Arsenal, tying him down for three more years at the Emirates. The deal – according to David Ornstein of The Athletic – enables him to become the clubs best paid player, with his base wage of £250,000 per week stretching past Mesut Ozil’s £350,000 per week if performance related bonuses are met.

Mikel Arteta and Edu were key in persuading their captain to renew, as they look to battle for Champions League football with their Premier League golden boot winner up top.

In this episode of FD: Explains, we discuss why the Gunners have put so much faith in the 31 year old, and why they should have no fears of him declining as a footballer anytime soon!
